If you want to receive email notifications of a post, first make sure your account is activated (in your profile). Then bookmark the post, go to your profile, click on "Bookmarks", and click on "Manage Bookmarks" in the top right hand corner.

Select "email" in the drop down box below where it says "By default, when you bookmark a thread, what type of notification would you like to receive when a new post is made in that thread?"

After that, with every new post that you bookmark you should automatically be notified of new posts by email. You don't have to keep going into "Manage Bookmarks" to select the email option each time you post.
